Can I request a change in the spell priority? Either you can make it a completely different rotation to download, or maybe in settings you can select "offensive rotation" or "defensive rotation". From what I can tell, right now it's putting Holy Shield on a very high priority. This really should be the lowest priority for anyone wanting to hold threat on good DPS or parse well. More details can be found here:
https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/guide/classes/paladin/protection/tank-rotation-cooldowns-abilities-pve But to save you the read time the priority list should be:
Single Target:1) Avenger's Shield
2) Hammer of Wrath
3) Hammer of the Righteous (Even if it is single target, this ability only gets stronger with more gear because it's dmg is based on block value - also it applies our seals unlike SotR. So right now SotR is winning by 200 per hit for me, but applying the seals on the initial hit will generate more threat. And the damage is likely to catch up anyway as time goes on making it the clear winner in the end).
4) Judgement
5) Shield of the Righteous
6) Consecrate
7) Holy Wrath (If Demon or Undead)
8) Holy Shield
AOE:
1) Avenger's Shield
2) Holy Wrath (If Demon or Undead)
3) Hammer of the Righteous
4) Consecration
5) Hammer of Wrath
6) Shield of the Righteous
7) Judgement
8) Holy Shield
You will not see Hammer of Wrath on the wowhead guide, as they do not want to tell new players to bother with an execute in a tank spec. I prioritized it based on the dmg it is doing vs the other abilities when comparing my logs. I can DM you those logs if you would like to take a look.
If you build a test for it, I'd be happy to test and see how much uptime is lost on Holy Shield by doing this. I imagine that it is not much. I run logs every week, and can compare both builds. I think I would still advise making it an option or alternate download, since brand new Prot Pallies likely should take the safe route, or people who do not understand the rotation well etc.
